Make sure the coolant is completely drained. 3: Remove the old thermostat housing assembly by loosening the screws or bolts securing the thermostat housing. Use pliers to carefully remove any hoses or wires that can be attached to it. 4: Clean the area where the old thermostat housing assembly used to be located. Remove any residue or debris that may interfere with the correct installation of the new assembly. 5: Install the new thermostat housing assembly in the location where you removed the old one. Make sure it is securely fastened in place the usage of screws or bolts. 6: Reconnect any hoses or wires that were disconnected all through removal. Make sure it is properly secured. 7: Refill the radiator with coolant. Start the engine and check for leaks. If there are none, the replacement process is complete.
